To ensure that all of our services are delivered to our clients exacting needs, we appoint a Project Manager with a clearly defined communications route. Initially we will work with the Client to gain a thorough understanding of their business. We develop a project specific timetable detailing key milestones and deadlines; it is our experience that time spent on planning and assessment in the early stages of a project can save time and effort at a later stage.
For our training services we use our extensive experience to select the most appropriate methods to suit our client, the participants and the environment in which they operate. Often this will be a combination of methods including, short instructor-led courses, computer based training, practical exercises, and/or table-top exercises. All our programmes are designed to be both stimulating and interactive.
We utilize modern technology to enhance knowledge retention by creating activity based learning that is relevant and memorable. Our material is being constantly updated and is enhanced by the use of 2D and 3D animation, video and images from our extensive library of resources.
We have produced a range of electronic tools for oil spill responders; these are distributed to course and exercise participants or can be downloaded from our website. These electronic aides are used during courses to enhance understanding of the subject. They are then available for use during incidents and exercises or simply to allow self-refreshment on key topics.
All course participants will receive an information pack containing a comprehensive workbook and reference manual. Our course manuals are written in easy to understand language with full colour graphics. For our consultancy services, we ensure that all outputs can be clearly understood. To do this we ensure that the information is presented in a clear and concise manner, particularly important if the information needs to be retrieved in an emergency situation. |
