Oiled Wildlife Response Training for BP

Peter Taylor worked with Curt Clumpner and Michelle Bellizzi of IFAW/IBRRC to deliver oiled wildlife response training for BP. Courses were run in Baku, Azerbaijan and Tbilisi, Georgia, to assist in the implementation of wildlife response plans. These plans were developed by the Oil Spill Training Company and have been praised as outstanding by independent reviewers.

The training was attended by a variety of NGOs. BP’s wildlife response plans are structured around partnerships between local interested parties and international experts, coordinated and integrated within an overall BP Incident Management Team.
