Kevin O’Connell and Peter Taylor are both registered as part of BP’s Regional Response Team. This means they may be requested to assist BP in the event of a serious incident in the European, African and Middle Eastern regions. The Regional Response Teams is primarily comprised of experienced BP incident response personnel drawn from across the region with selected contractors, such as The Oil Spill Training Company, providing specialist and expert support.
 The Regional Response Team is an Incident Command System based organization, designed to supplement and enhance the capabilities of Incident Management Teams within the region’s Business Units. Both Kevin and Peter are able to take up a variety of roles across the planning, operations and logistics sections of the Incident Command System organization.
