Supporting a major Conference in France

Peter Taylor is privileged to be assisting with preparations for the next Interspill Conference, taking place in Marseille during 12-14 May 2009. He has been invited to co-Chair the session on Regional Preparedness, in his role as OSPRI Manager. This recognises Peter’s involvement in a wide variety of regional planning projects with IPIECA and OSPRI during the last ten years.

Peter is using his experience and knowledge to help review abstracts submitted for inclusion in his session. It is anticipated that the chosen presentations will be of high quality, as the candidate abstracts exceed the available slots by seven times!

The Interspill Conference & Exhibition is part of the international cycle of oil spill conferences and will be the premier such event in 2009. It also incorporates the Fourth IMO Research & Development Forum, which is expected to add to the interest and number of participants. The Oil Spill Training Company will be exhibiting and we anticipate meeting existing clients, potential new ones and, of course, many old friends.

Marseille promises to be an excellent location
