OilTech Kazakhstan held in Atyrau

Peter Taylor attended OilTech Kazakhstan and the related Atyrau Oil and Gas Exhibition on behalf of OSPRI. The events provided an excellent opportunity to liaise and coordinate with OSPRI members in Kazakhstan.

Increased oil exploration, production and transportation in Kazakhstan and the wider Caspian are leading to a commensurate increasing focus on ensuring industry and government oil spill preparedness. OSPRI members are playing a key role in these developments.

Peter was able to meet important members of the OSPRI network stationed in Kazakhstan and beyond, which will help in the development of OSPRI’s action plan for the region.
