Further assistance to the International Maritime Organization (IMO)

The International Maritime Organization are continuing to present courses and seminars that are designed to help countries prepare and respond to major oil pollution incidents and to develop and maintain capabilities to deal with such incidents.

Following on from our successful year assisting the International Maritime Organization in carrying out this work in 2003, The Oil Spill Training Company has again been contracted to carry out two Level 2 courses in Astrakhan and Novorossiysk in the Russian Federation . The IMO has a full diary of events programmed for the coming year and we look forward to continuing our close cooperation in the development and delivery of these key national and regional events.
